2010 CAGW MEMBER'S ONLY NATIONAL SURVEY!

Tell us what you think.  Our 2010 CAGW Member's Only National Survey is the best and most powerful way you can not only show your concern over Washington's return to failed big-government policies, but also deliver an urgent demand for the Obama Administration and Congress to abandon their record deficit spending, proposed tax increases, and massive expansion of the size and power of government.

As President Obama and Congress rapidly push this nation toward bankruptcy, we need to fight new self-serving spending programs, the $1 trillion-plus government takeover of healthcare, the $1,500 per family cap-and-trade energy tax, and much more.  Your survey answers will arm us with the evidence of public opposition we need to derail many of these tax and spending plans.

We will tabulate your answers to these questions, and by publicizing the results nationwide, we will demonstrate that there is growing public outrage against wasteful big government and that more and more Americans are willing to take action.

Please take the 2010 CAGW MEMBER'S ONLY NATIONAL SURVEY today!

1.
Question - Not Required - Earlier this year, President Obama and Congress enacted a $789 billion so-called "economic stimulus" package. A large portion of the stimulus money has not been spent, and there is now growing evidence that much of what has been spent is being wasted. For instance, stimulus dollars enabled the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, N.J., a city-owned theater, to add six preview performances of "Little House on the Prairie - the Musical" at a cost of $50,000. The money has also been used for breakfast at Fuddruckers, appetizers at an Oregon school board meeting, a snow cone and cotton candy machine at an Oklahoma community center open house, headstone straightening, studies of Amazon fish, and much more. Would you financially support a campaign by CAGW to prevent further stimulus money from being spent and wasted?

2.
Question - Not Required - CAGW has been a recognized leader in the fight to block the Obama/Pelosi/Reid government takeover of healthcare. Do you agree that CAGW should continue to wage an all-out battle to stop this Medicare-slashing, medical care-rationing, doctor-controlling, more than $1 trillion step toward socialized medicine?

3.
Question - Not Required - The cap-and-trade energy tax making its way through Congress right now will not only place a significant economic burden on all American businesses, but it will also cost the average American family at least $1,500 in higher energy bills. Do you think that CAGW should wage an all-out battle against President Obama's cap-and-trade proposal?

4.
Question - Not Required - In previous years, CAGW spent tens of thousands of dollars to research and publicize a comprehensive list of possible cuts in wasteful spending which totaled nearly $2 trillion over five years. Dozens of these recommendations were used by Congress to save taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars and keep both the deficit and taxes lower than they might otherwise have been. Do you think CAGW should accelerate its research and publicize a new list of waste cuts?

5.
Question - Not Required - Even though America is waging two wars, there are a number of Representatives and Senators who are desperate for reelection next year and who are requesting billions of dollars in earmarks in the Defense Budget. These earmarks will fund pork-barrel, special-interest programs in their home districts and states. Do you believe CAGW should continue its highly successful efforts with Senator John McCain (R-Ariz.) and others to stop these self-serving earmarks?

6.
Question - Not Required - Which do you think are the three biggest issues facing America? (Select no more than three, please.)
Please make 3 selections from the choices below.

7.
Question - Not Required - In some European countries if you are too old or too ill, you are not eligible for some healthcare procedures and this rationing of care helps to hold down the price of nationalized healthcare. Do you think that if the Obama/Pelosi/Reid government takeover of healthcare wins final passage that it will eventually place similar age restrictions and result in healthcare rationing here in the United States?

8.
Question - Not Required - Do you believe many of the healthcare, energy, spending and tax proposals coming out of the White House and Congress are ultimately designed to redistribute wealth in this country by taking what you have worked for and giving it to others?

9.
Question - Not Required - Do you think that the recent election results in Virginia and New Jersey are an indication of the American people's growing anger at President Obama's and Congress's far-left policies?

10.
Question - Not Required - Do you think raising taxes will reduce the deficit or will raising taxes slow economic growth, resulting in lower tax revenues and larger deficits?

11.
Question - Not Required - Are you aware that during President Obama's term in office he will increase the national debt by more than all previous presidents combined?

12.
Question - Not Required - Do you believe that President Obama's and the Democratic Congress's proposed tax increases and surtaxes will result in more or less economic growth?

13.
Question - Not Required - Do you support President Obama's use of billions of tax dollars to bail out the auto and financial industries and other failing businesses?

14.
Question - Not Required - Do you support President Obama's efforts to give government greater control over what Americans in the private sector are paid?
