Question - Not Required - Earlier this year, President Obama and Congress enacted a $789 billion so-called "economic stimulus" package. A large portion of the stimulus money has not been spent, and there is now growing evidence that much of what has been spent is being wasted. For instance, stimulus dollars enabled the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, N.J., a city-owned theater, to add six preview performances of "Little House on the Prairie - the Musical" at a cost of $50,000. The money has also been used for breakfast at Fuddruckers, appetizers at an Oregon school board meeting, a snow cone and cotton candy machine at an Oklahoma community center open house, headstone straightening, studies of Amazon fish, and much more.
